Class A/B Truck Operator

The Hatch Group, Inc. is seeking skilled drivers to operate Dump Trucks under the guidance of site supervisors. The primary responsibility will be to transport materials such as asphalt, rock, sand, and dirt. Drivers may also be tasked with hauling equipment on trailers between job sites. Occasionally, there may be a requirement to operate additional heavy machinery to assist in road construction projects. This may include equipment such as asphalt pavers, rollers, front-end loaders, excavators, graders, and compactors. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure drivers become effective members of our teams.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a current Class A or B CDL.
- Must have a valid MA DOT physical card or the ability to obtain one before starting work.
- Previous experience in truck driving and equipment operation is preferred.
- Physical fitness to perform job functions, including standing, squatting, bending, lifting, and sitting for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to follow instructions and take direction from supervisors.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist in training less experienced staff.
- OSHA10 certification is required.
- Pre-employment drug screening and physical examination are mandatory.
Compensation:
- Salary will be determined based on experience.
