We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Professional to join our team at the City of Minneapolis. As an Office Support Specialist, you will perform complex clerical work involving familiarity with the practices, procedures and regulations of a given department or division.

This vacancy is located within Public Works - Solid Waste & Recycling Division/Clean City, where you will contribute to the efficient operations of the city.

About the Role:

  • Complex Clerical Work: Perform tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and preparing reports
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to the public and internal stakeholders
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish
  • Timely Completion: Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks and projects

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • At least 1 year experience in an administrative support role
  • Superior Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
