Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in leading the kitchen team to achieve high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and receiving to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to achieve budget targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts or related field preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
