Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Avenues Recovery Center at Covington. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the medical and clinical teams, engaging with clients, and ensuring a safe and supportive recovery environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support to medical and clinical teams, including admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and other essential tasks.
  • Build rapport with clients and create a warm, accepting recovery environment.
  • Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure the safety of both clients and staff.
  • Record and escalate any critical communication or incidents in a timely manner.
  • Fulfill administrative duties, including shift documentation, inventory, meetings, and office support.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
  • If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required.
  • Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
  • Warm, compassionate, and empathetic personality.
  • Dignified character that models recovery principles.
