Position Summary
The Human Resources department plays a crucial role in ensuring that our organization is equipped with the right talent, aligned with our strategic goals, and ready to meet the demands of our services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive support, training, and guidance in employee recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance management.
2. Assist in recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening applicants, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
3. Facilitate pre-employment and post-employment background checks, ensuring timely completion of all necessary screenings.
4. Support the onboarding process, including managing pre-hire documentation, providing necessary employee resources, and offering administrative assistance as required.
5. Collect and maintain documentation necessary for staff credentialing processes.
6. Provide administrative support for data entry and management within the Human Resources information system.
7. Conduct employee orientation and training sessions as needed.
8. Assist new teams in developing tracking systems for training, compliance, and performance evaluations.
9. Train supervisors on employee evaluation processes and ensure adherence to timelines and standards.
10. Offer constructive feedback and solutions for resolving employee relations issues.
11. Guide supervisors through the corrective action process, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
12. Participate in investigations related to workplace concerns as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with employees and management at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
