Clinical Psychologist

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join its Department of Psychiatry and work exclusively with Oncology in the St. Tammany Cancer Center.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychosocial care to patients with cancer, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams including Lung Cancer, Head & Neck Cancer, and Neuro-oncology.
- Collaborate with Pediatric Hematology-Oncology colleagues and work with members of the Palliative Oncology Team.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address the unique needs of patients with cancer.
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in clinical psychology and oncology.
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) from an APA-approved program.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Louisiana.
- Completed internship training at an APA-Approved site.
