Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Interact with customers and technicians to understand their parts needs and provide accurate assistance and solutions.
- Parts Lookup and Selection: Look up and locate automotive parts using electronic catalogs and manuals to ensure accurate and timely product deliveries.
- Order Processing and Inventory Management: Process parts orders, track backorders, and maintain accurate inventory records, including reconciliation and stock rotation.
- Quality Control: Receive and inspect incoming shipments of parts, checking for accuracy and quality.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with service technicians to ensure appropriate part selection and timely repairs, and communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in an automotive parts or service department is preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive parts and understanding of vehicle systems, familiarity with electronic parts catalogs and inventory management systems, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 per year.
