Your responsibilities will include:
Circle is in search of a proactive Senior Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team.

As an essential member of the team, you will work closely with cross-functional leaders to provide critical insights into significant business trends and performance indicators.

Your responsibilities will encompass performing thorough financial analyses on business agreements and new product introductions.

By collaborating within a strong finance team, you will play a vital role in improving business visibility through forecasting, strategic analysis, dashboard development, and comprehensive reporting.


Key areas of focus:

Strategic Partnerships:
Building collaborative relationships with functional leaders, delivering detailed reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that facilitate informed decision-making.

Pricing Strategy Empowerment:

Taking charge of data analysis initiatives, producing actionable insights that support pricing and market entry strategies, as well as business trend evaluations.


Success Modeling:

Creating advanced financial models and conducting scenario analyses to evaluate the feasibility of business agreements and the potential effects of new product launches.

Challenge assumptions to ensure sound decision-making while balancing accuracy and efficiency.

Insightful Reporting:

Developing and managing both regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards that provide a clear overview of business health and progress towards strategic goals.


Supporting Leadership Decisions:
Working closely with leadership, utilizing financial expertise to facilitate informed decision-making at the highest levels.

Board-Level Contributions:
Assisting in forecasting and analysis for board-level reports and presentations, ensuring a data-driven approach to strategic discussions.

Comprehensive Analysis:

Employing advanced financial analysis techniques to deliver deep insights, trends, and evaluations on critical business matters, enabling senior stakeholders to make well-informed decisions.


Enhancing Financial Visibility:
Leading revenue and cost forecasting and recognition, including detailed variance analysis to support proactive decision-making.

What you will bring to Circle:

Emotional Intelligence:

Extensive Experience:

Bringing a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Finance & Strategy / FP&A, characterized by a proven ability to analyze large datasets.


Data Mastery:
Possessing advanced skills in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel, effectively utilizing these tools to generate meaningful financial insights.

Data Analysis Proficiency:

Showcasing proficiency in data analysis through SQL, with a preference for familiarity with programming languages such as R or Python.


Data Synthesis Expertise:
Demonstrating expertise in manipulating both structured and, preferably, on-chain data, translating findings into impactful executive-level presentations.

Analytical Excellence:
Exhibiting a consistent record of exceptional financial and strategic analyses, translating findings into actionable recommendations.

Effective Communication:

Leveraging strong communication skills to craft compelling narratives with financial data, conveying complex concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.


Stakeholder Engagement:

Highlighting your ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, contributing to the development of dashboards and efficient, repeatable processes.

Additional Information:
This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates. Circle is committed to creating an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core. We consider various factors when determining our compensation ranges and total compensation packages. The compensation range below is specific to Chicago, IL.

Actual starting pay is influenced by factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may vary for candidates in different locations.

Base Pay Range:
$112,500 - $145,000
Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%

Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy.

We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
