Your Role
As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting consolidated financial reporting and analysis, aiding in business and financial strategy formulation, and delivering strategic insights. Your responsibilities will encompass managing essential financial operations such as Annual Operating Plans and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews, identifying financial and operational risks and opportunities, and supporting various ad-hoc initiatives. Success in this role requires a proactive individual with strong financial modeling capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and uncertain environment.

  • Assist in consolidated management reporting and analytical activities, including data preparation, analysis, and trend interpretation.
  • Support the planning process by developing financial models and analytical tools for budgeting, forecasting, and performance enhancement.
  • Ensure adherence to key performance metrics across consolidated and individual business lines.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial recommendations to management based on comprehensive analysis for scenario evaluations, business case assessments, return on investment, and regulatory engagements.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance existing processes, strengthen internal controls, and optimize data management practices.
  • Coordinate internal audits across all operational entities in collaboration with accounting and operations teams.
  • Maintain business intelligence data analytics to support pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field in data analytics.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial planning and business analysis.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Accounting/P&L management.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, and Excel is required.
  • Strong understanding of planning and performance processes, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and periodic business reviews.
  • A background in cost accounting is highly desirable.
  • Data modeling and analytical skills, including experience with BI tools for dashboard creation.
  • Ability to follow through on issues, make informed decisions in compliance with policies, complete tasks, and solve problems effectively.
  • Capability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Fluency in Chinese/Mandarin is advantageous.
