Automotive Service Valet

Penske Motor Group's Collision Center is seeking a Valet Final Wash to become part of our exceptional team. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in an entry-level detailing position within a body shop setting, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to launch your career. Compensation: The Valet Final Wash position offers a competitive pay scale, starting with a base hourly rate of $17.00.

Responsibilities:
- Install and remove protective covers and mats in vehicles serviced.
- Drive vehicles to designated areas within the parking lot.
- Deliver keys and repair orders to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain an organized and tidy parking area.
- Ensure the security of all vehicles in the parking lot.
- Assist in relocating disabled vehicles as needed.
- Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking area.
- Provide transportation for guests when required.
- Help uphold a professional appearance in the Collision Center and courtesy van.
- Inspect vehicles for any damage incurred during their stay.
- Document any external damage and vehicle details as necessary.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and operational practices.
- Assist in various areas of the Collision Center as required.
- Maintain high ethical standards and a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred minimum of six months of customer service experience.
- Ability to coordinate activities with colleagues and comprehend instructions in English.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands outlined here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The individual will be required to:
- Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl while communicating.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Navigate different positions to complete tasks in diverse environments, including confined spaces.
- Remain stationary for extended periods, either standing or sitting.
- Operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
- Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
