We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist/Assessment Supervisor to join our team at The Help Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the futures of individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, abuse, mental health, and social-emotional challenges.

About the Position

This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and families, providing expert assessment and supervision services. You will be responsible for overseeing our P.L.A.N. Assessment Center, coordinating testing services, managing referrals, and supervising interns and trainees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of The Help Group's P.L.A.N. Assessment Center, including coordination of testing services, management of referrals, assignment of assessment cases to doctoral interns, and provision of supervision for all aspects of psycho-diagnostic testing while maintaining an inventory of testing materials.
  • Supervision of interns and/or trainees through individual and/or group sessions within The Help Group's doctoral internship, post-doctoral fellowship, and/or practicum training programs.
  • Supervision may encompass various direct service experiences, such as individual, family, and group treatment, in addition to supervision of psycho-diagnostic testing.
  • Collaboration with the Director of Psychology Training to instruct doctoral students in test administration, scoring, interpretation, report composition, and feedback of results.
  • Development of remediation plans for training program participants who require additional support to meet competency standards.
  • Provision of continuous feedback and scheduled written evaluations of supervisee performance.
Qualifications

Candidates must have graduated from an APA Accredited Doctoral Program (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical, counseling, school psychology, or a related field. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three years of clinical experience and psychological assessment specializing in children and families, including one year working directly with families and in educational, milieu, or residential treatment settings.

Demonstrated expertise in administration, scoring, and integration of psychological assessments for children and adolescents with diverse diagnostic presentation is required as well as proficiency in administration and scoring of the ADOS. Expertise in child/adolescent psychology, particularly in Autism Spectrum Disorders, is preferred. Experience in supervising licensed psychologists, psychology practicum students, doctoral interns, or post-doctoral fellows in psychological testing or clinical practice is desirable.
