Job Summary:

As a Clinical Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to our members. Your expertise will be utilized to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with a range of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychometric and projective tests to assess patients' mental health.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' mental health needs.
  • Conduct initial interviews with patients to gather relevant information and determine the urgency of their needs.
  • Provide professional interpretation of patients' presentations and recommend a course of therapeutic action.
  • Render immediate guidance and therapy to patients in crisis or in need of clinical services.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and prepare reports and letters as needed.
  • Communicate with referring professionals through verbal and written reports.
  • Participate in program evaluation to assess the quality of care and cost-effectiveness of clinical procedures.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree from an APA-accredited program with specialization in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • Two or more years of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting or a pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral internship, or fellowship at Kaiser Permanente.
  • Psychologist License (California).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship in an APA-approved program.
Work Schedule:

Tuesdays: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Thursdays: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, and one of the following: Monday (1:00 PM - 4:30 PM) or Wednesday (1:00 PM - 4:30 PM).

Location:

California, Orange, Orange Rehabilitation Pavilion.
