Clinical Psychologist Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Supervisory Clinical Psychologist. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising professional and paraprofessional employees, providing guidance to the hospital commander, and delivering individual, couple, family, and group psychological counseling services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise assigned employees and provide guidance to the hospital commander on policy matters.
- Provide individual, couple, family, and group psychological counseling services to patients with a wide range of emotional and behavioral health disorders.
- Select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests to assess patient cognitive, psycho-educational, emotional personality, vocational, and neuropsychological functioning.
- Participate in emergency behavioral health services, including screening patients for appropriateness of psychiatric hospitalization.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination based on a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- Selectees will be required to sign a statement consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or provide a recognized exemption.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing.
- Selectees will be required to consent to participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
- A pre-placement medical examination is required.
- Immunization screening is required, including Hepatitis B immunization for positions with direct patient contact.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross.
- Moderate to heavy lifting may be required.
- This position may require working during irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying work schedules.
