All staff members at Noble adhere to three essential principles that cultivate a positive and robust campus culture:

  1. Clear Expectations: Students thrive when they understand boundaries and expectations. Noble staff are responsible for clearly communicating academic and behavioral standards through straightforward procedures and routines.
  2. Consistency: Students experience a wide range of emotions, and while all feelings are valid, not all behaviors are constructive. Consistent responses to behaviors promote fairness and provide students with a sense of security, ensuring that our campuses operate with justice and equity.
  3. Connection: Building meaningful relationships is vital for student success. Noble staff prioritize fostering positive interactions and connections rooted in the humanity and belonging of each student.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all IEPs/504s/FIEs.
  • Review and finalize IEPs/504s/FIEs within designated timelines.
  • Create and manage an IEP schedule, ensuring proper notification of meetings and adherence to procedural safeguards.
  • Facilitate and attend IEP meetings.
  • Monitor the accuracy and effectiveness of special education services, collaborating with learning specialists to resolve any issues.
  • Maintain positive relationships with parents by promptly addressing questions and concerns.
  • Oversee special education parent referrals and RTI referrals.
  • Support and supervise related service providers in their documentation and student interactions, including roles such as school psychologist, nurse, speech pathologist, and social worker.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Illinois Teaching License (PEL or ELS) with Learning Behavior Specialist I endorsement (LBSI) or an equivalent out-of-state Special Education teaching license.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States on a full-time basis with LBS1 (Illinois Special Education Certification).
