Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of pharmacy technician procedures, including filling prescriptions, toting medications, compounding medications, and assisting with inventory management.
  • Review prescription quantities for accuracy and work with various departments to ensure timely order processing.
  • Utilize technology to complete expediting processes and work with IV services.
  • Process returns accurately and efficiently, and build positive relationships with team members through effective communication.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technical program or 1-year comparable experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of drugs and drug categories a plus; ability to work with various technologies, including robotic fill machines.
  • Must be a self-starter with strong organizational and analytical skills, able to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and engage in frequent stooping, bending, reaching, and squatting.
