Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support an upcoming opportunity in a dynamic environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex legal and policy documents to extract key information and identify compliance obligations.
Key Responsibilities- Document Analysis: Utilize your analytical skills to extract key information from legal and policy documents, adhering to established guides and procedures.
- Compliance Obligations: Identify and document compliance obligations in legal and policy documents, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Technical Skills: Proficiently use multiple word processing and presentation tools, such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro, as well as task tracking and documentation software like Confluence and JIRA.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand problems and determine solutions based on existing documentation and guidance.
- Reporting and Briefings: Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences, ensuring clear and concise communication.
- Compliance Automation: Analyze compliance obligations to identify, design, and maintain controls, system requirements, and/or machine-readable rules that enable compliance automation.
- Policy Development: Provide subject matter expertise to the development of mission compliance-related policy and guidance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain user guide documentation for analyzing legal and policy documents.
- MPO Authorities: Demonstrate familiarity with MPO authorities through practical experience.
- Security Clearance: Must possess a U.S government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and a polygraph (TS/SCI w/ polygraph).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., legal, technical field, library science) from an accredited college or university is required. (Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree).
- Experience: Ten (10) years experience in programs involving MPO authorities.
- Certification: Certified Paralegal preferred.
