At Idaho Scientific, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in secure system solutions. As a Verification Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and deploying cutting-edge CPU design, crypto cores, and hardened operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient verification processes for Idaho Scientific products and research projects
  • Translate complex project requirements into tailored verification plans
  • Implement verification plans to project completion, ensuring robust and reliable results
  • Participate in all aspects of the product design life cycle, from system architecture to verification
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements:
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • More than five years of experience in embedded systems design and verification, with a focus on security
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of verification methods, including constrained-random, directed, and formal verification
  • Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM verification languages
  • Experience in building verification environments and measuring test coverage
  • Working knowledge of scripting and software modeling
  • Advanced understanding of computer hardware and software architectures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active US Security Clearance
  • Experience applying principles of cyber security to operational technology and embedded systems
  • Experience reverse engineering hardware and software
  • Experience with CPU design, preferably Intel x86
  • Knowledge of Operating System architecture and design, Linux preferred
