Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Authorization and Verification Representative to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our healthcare business office, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately verifying insurance coverage and obtaining authorization for Outpatient Therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze accounts for accuracy and document information from insurance companies/sureties for benefits and eligibility
  • Obtain authorization from insurance companies, document results, and notify appropriate staff
  • Answer incoming calls from customers/employees and research and resolve patient complaints and concerns
  • Follow up with insurance companies for problem resolution and ensure timely completion of eLearning as assigned by RMA and/or contracting hospitals
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills with an emphasis on Word, Excel, Outlook, Therapy Source, and Medical Manager
  • Ability to utilize calculator, phones, fax machine, and copier
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with EPIC preferred
  • Previous work experience in healthcare business office preferred
