Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, their families, and visitors in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take patient menu selections prior to each meal and ensure that dietary restrictions are met.
  • Assemble trays according to patient menu selections in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Interact with nursing staff to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and patients' food needs are met.
  • Retrieve trays from patients' rooms and maintain accurate and current information for each patient on assigned units.
  • Assist dietitian with monitoring of patients who are NPO, on liquid diets or have a calorie count ordered.
  • Communicate any patient-related problems or concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
