Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Review the work progress on a daily basis.
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management.
  • Proven working experience in construction management, including a record of successful project delivery.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
  • Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team building abilities.
  • Ability to plan and see the 'big picture'.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality health and safety standards.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
