Automation Controls Specialist

Amotec is seeking dedicated 2nd and 3rd Shift Automation Controls Specialists for our client, a well-established global leader in the automotive sector. The Automation Controls Specialist will play a crucial role in diagnosing electrical control issues and implementing programming modifications for PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems. Primary Responsibilities:
- Configuring and servicing industrial robots for tasks such as welding, assembly, and material handling.
- Developing, altering, and sustaining programs for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to guarantee optimal performance of manufacturing machinery.
- Addressing equipment failures, identifying issues, and executing repairs to reduce operational downtime.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 4 years of experience in a Controls Technician role or a related field
- Practical experience with electrical control systems and robotics
