Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and troubleshoot software control systems for specialized testing and assembly machinery.
- Utilize Rockwell PLC automation tools (including Logix 5000 and FactoryTalk View) for machine commissioning.
- Employ SIEMENS PLC automation tools (such as TIA Portal and WinCC Flexible) for machine setup.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to address design and debugging challenges (including non-software issues).
- Program and resolve issues related to FANUC robotic systems.
- Engage in data collection and FIS software development.
Qualifications:
- Completion of vocational training or an associate's degree is required.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing PC or PLC-based software applications.
- Strong technical skills and hands-on debugging capabilities.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% for this role.
