Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team at Brilliant Staffing LLC. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records, statements, and reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • Direct monthly closing activities, including the preparation of excel-based reports and management reporting packages.
  • Perform general ledger account analysis and evaluate the financial statements and reports for accuracy, identifying problem areas and suggesting methods of correction.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for the company.
  • Support the accounts receivable invoicing and credit function.
  • Maintain a fixed asset log with depreciation and lapsing schedules for both book and tax purposes.
  • Monitor and report daily cash flow.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the Accounting Department, providing staff with support and guidance in meeting departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years' strong accounting experience with an emphasis on a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid understanding of job costing with industry knowledge a plus.
