Press Feeder

The primary responsibility of the Press Feeder is to operate the feeder on the large format offset printing press. This role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.

• Operate the press based on written instructions
• Work with the press crew to ensure each job is produced to customer specifications, meeting internal and external deadlines
• Verify that stock matches job specs on the ticket before loading the press
• Transfer paper to and from machinery using industrial trucks or hand trucks
• Read and understand job tickets
• Monitor paper as it runs through the press
• Make adjustments to the operations to prevent paper jams
• Report the status of projects and any issues with the machinery to the head press operator
• Follow all safety policies and regulations
• Assist in performing routine maintenance on the press with the press team members as required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience as a Press Feeder
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as with a crew/team
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally
