As a Quality Inspector/Operational Excellence Technician, you will play a crucial role in a team that ensures the highest standards of quality in our production processes. Your efforts will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in labeling and packaging.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct thorough testing and inspection of products at various stages of production, compiling essential data from these evaluations.
  • Assist in upholding the quality and reliability of our offerings.
  • Support the Operational Excellence Manager in implementing ISO and BRC quality systems.
  • Enhance staff awareness regarding defect elimination based on your findings.
  • Collaborate with all departments to continually improve service levels and product quality.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with ISO and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for Lean improvements.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Required: 0-2 years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Required: Certification in basic HACCP.
  • Required: Proficiency in reading, writing, and following verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Preferred: Two or more years of direct experience in quality control within the printing industry.
  • A Plus: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and BRC quality systems.
