SUMMARY

With minimal oversight, the Senior Client Relations Specialist addresses customer inquiries and processes orders to ensure that customer expectations are accurately identified and fulfilled.

This position requires extensive knowledge of the organization's offerings. The Senior Client Relations Specialist cultivates and enhances relationships with clients to thoroughly comprehend their needs and desires. This role also provides mentorship and support to junior Client Relations Specialists.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Processes customer orders through various channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Influences the company's profitability by negotiating pricing within established guidelines.

May modify pricing for non-contract customers to align with market competition while maximizing profit margins.

Fosters customer relationships to encourage repeat business by understanding client needs and driving operational improvements.
Manages inventory levels to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Authorized to place orders without prior approval for amounts up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per order.
Expedites pending orders and may prepare items for shipment.
Responsible for sourcing products from branch, distribution center, or supplier inventories.
Identifies the most cost-effective shipping solutions for customer orders.
Handles customer returns as necessary.
May be assigned to a specific client.
Provides coaching and support to less experienced Client Relations Specialists.
Assists junior team members in addressing customer inquiries, locating products, and resolving issues.
May oversee quality and safety standards within the branch.
Performs additional duties as required.
Responds to complex customer inquiries regarding products, provides pricing information, and manages order entry.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED
Five (5) or more years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong negotiation abilities.
In-depth product knowledge.
Dependability, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.
