Job Summary

Hutton Lafayette at West Orange is seeking a highly skilled Leasing and Resident Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents, ensuring a seamless leasing experience and promoting resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing and Sales
    • Generate and handle traffic leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, and preparing lease documentation.
    • Lead guests to vacant and/or model apartments, discussing features and benefits that meet their needs.
    • Consistently meet leasing goals set forth by management.
  • Resident Services
    • Assist residents throughout their residency, addressing their concerns and needs in a timely and professional manner.
    • Participate in resident retention programs, promoting a positive living experience and fostering a sense of community.
  • Administrative and Operational Tasks
    • Record all traffic in computer software programs daily.
    • Follow up with each guest a minimum of five times.
    • Process applications, verify qualifications, and present applications to management for approval.
    • Coordinate lease signings, ensure proper setup in computer systems, and process monies within 24 hours.
  • Marketing and Community Involvement
    • Participate in outside marketing events as required.
    • Assist in promoting Fieldstone Properties' communities.
    • Shop competitive properties and assist management in preparing a market comparison grid.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sales and/or Customer Service experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Internet Software (Microsoft Outlook), and Onesite RealPage.
