Position Summary: The Engineering Operations Manager will oversee the technical and operational aspects of our facility, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This position entails managing electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other specialized machinery, while also focusing on mechanical, financial, and employee development objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel; review and assess completed tasks.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving equipment and machinery issues.
  • Ensure adherence to the preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Provide training on safety and regulatory compliance for maintenance staff.
  • Manage shift schedules to guarantee sufficient maintenance coverage.
  • Oversee the maintenance budget, including processing purchase orders and invoices.
  • Conduct annual evaluations of all equipment and recommend capital expenditures to management.
  • Supervise janitorial operations and waste management protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong management and administrative skills with effective communication abilities.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in facility maintenance and operations.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks including standing, walking, climbing, and bending.
  • Normal vision and hearing capabilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
