Key ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will oversee the business development division at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
This executive will manage selected clinical and hospital departments as assigned by the CEO, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination of strategic planning initiatives, including facility space planning, opportunity identification and evaluation, business model development, physician recruitment, and providing leadership in a strategic service delivery framework.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in business development, with a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities. This leader will actively drive the business development function while contributing to the overall management of the organization as a senior management team member.
Education:
A Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years in the healthcare sector (clinical experience preferred), with substantial experience in business development and marketing.
Experience in marketing or selling services in a startup or early-stage environment is preferred.
Demonstrated supervisory and management experience is essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient in engaging with physicians, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders within the organization.
Ability to establish immediate credibility through experience, communication skills, and empathy.
Strong analytical skills, including familiarity with basic statistics and statistical analysis methodologies.
Proficient in PC-based software applications, such as Word, Excel, and Access.
Knowledge of marketing communications concepts, including the development of promotional materials, corporate communications, and brand management.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Comprehensive understanding of healthcare-related regulatory and accreditation standards.
