Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Lead and ensure the successful delivery of all programs, maintaining the highest standards of quality and effectiveness to meet the needs of children in foster care.
  • Program Development: Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs that align with Voices for Children's mission and strategic goals.
  • Operations and Warehouse Management: Provide operational support to ensure smooth program execution, including logistics, resource management, and overseeing warehouse operations.
  • Grant and Contract Management: Support grant applications, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with all funding sources.
  • Community Representation: Serve as an ambassador and spokesperson for Voices for Children, representing the organization in the community and building relationships with key partners.
  • Event Support: Provide administrative and logistical support for special events.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit and manage volunteer teams to support programming initiatives and special projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management within a nonprofit organization, preferably in a child welfare or social services setting.
  • Mission Commitment: A strong commitment to the mission of Voices for Children of Broward County and a passion for supporting children in foster care.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing staff, volunteers, and program delivery.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software programs.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks that involve physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and moving light to moderate weight objects.
  • Travel: Regular travel within Broward County is required.
