About the Role:The Executive Director for Advancement, Integrative Health will serve as the chief development officer for the College of Medicine and Schools of Health Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmacy, as well as the Center for Integrative Health at Duquesne University. This role will provide counsel to the Deans/Director on advancement matters, help set philanthropic strategies, and organize and set the College/Schools/Center's philanthropic priorities to maximize external support.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, lead, and grow all aspects of alumni and friend engagement, fundraising, and comprehensive Advancement initiatives within the College/Schools/Center.
- Cultivate and close major and planned gift commitments.
- Work closely with academic program leaders, center directors, faculty, and staff in the respective College/Schools/Center at the direction of the SVP.
- Report directly to the Senior Vice President for University Advancement (SVP) in close collaboration with the leadership of the College/Schools/Center.
- Bachelor's degree in business, liberal arts, or a related field from an accredited institution and 8 or more years of progressively responsible experience.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of successful experience in major gift and/or planned gift development or a related field.
- Valid driver's license.
- MA, MS, MBA, or other relevant degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience working on a comprehensive fundraising campaign in a complex educational setting.
