Overview
Are you enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong partnerships? The Business Services Account Specialist collaborates with business proprietors to enhance operational efficiency through tailored financial solutions.
This role integrates efforts across retail and lending sectors to present a comprehensive array of services to clients, focusing on innovative solutions such as ACH processing and Remote Deposit.
Key Responsibilities
To succeed in this position, the individual must effectively execute the following essential functions:
- Promote and represent the organization by engaging in community events and industry forums, thereby expanding networks and referral opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with business clients, understanding their requirements and suggesting financial solutions to optimize their operations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s offerings, policies, and market trends to provide informed recommendations.
- Utilize relationship management tools to identify and connect with current and potential clients, ensuring regular communication.
- Collaborate with team members and various departments to deliver a full suite of business services, including RDC, ACH, Positive Pay, and Smart Cash Management.
- Manage customer relationships to maximize revenue while addressing risk and prioritizing client needs.
- Assist in preparing and underwriting new ACH originator packets for approval and onboarding processes.
- Participate in the RDC, SCM, and Mobile Deposit support team, aiding business clients in troubleshooting issues related to transactions.
- Adhere to the RDC audit schedule and conduct onsite visits as required.
- Gain knowledge of ACH exceptions and returns to assist originators in understanding their processes.
- Support the management of the Smart Cash Management program, ensuring accurate installations and maintenance.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering an environment of open dialogue.
- Adhere to company service standards, setting an example for colleagues and clients alike.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Able to Quickly Learn New Software
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred:
- 3 Years Sales Experience, Including 1 Year in Customer Care
- 1 Year of Relevant Banking Experience
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and smartphones.
Physical Requirements
Employees must be able to communicate effectively and possess specific vision abilities including close and distance vision. The role may require occasional lifting of office supplies up to 20 pounds.
Travel Requirements
Travel is primarily local during business hours, with occasional out-of-area travel expected.
