Overview

Are you enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service and fostering meaningful connections? Do you have a knack for identifying solutions that enhance business operations? The Business Services Relationship Specialist collaborates with business proprietors to achieve these goals.

This role involves working alongside both retail and lending divisions to offer a comprehensive range of products tailored to client needs. You will provide solutions that facilitate ACH processing, Remote Deposit, and other innovative financial services.

  1. Promote and represent the organization through active participation in community initiatives, civic groups, industry-specific gatherings, and meetings, ensuring the growth of relationships, networks, and referral sources.
  2. Establish strong connections with business owners, understanding their requirements and suggesting financial solutions to enhance their daily operations.
  3. Exhibit a robust understanding of company offerings, policies, and procedures, while continuously expanding your knowledge of industry trends and competitive practices.
  4. Utilize sales and relationship management tools to identify and refer current and prospective clients, maintaining regular communication.
  5. Collaborate effectively with team members and departments to deliver a comprehensive suite of business services, including but not limited to RDC, ACH, Positive Pay, and Smart Cash Management.
  6. Manage customer relationships to maximize revenue contributions while minimizing risk and prioritizing customer needs.
  7. Assist in the preparation and underwriting of new ACH originator packets for approval and onboarding processes.
  8. Participate in the RDC, SCM, and Mobile Deposit support team, assisting business clients with troubleshooting issues related to file transmissions and processing.
  9. Adhere to the RDC audit schedule, completing onsite evaluations as required.
  10. Gain knowledge of ACH exceptions and returns processes to better assist originators in understanding return situations.
  11. Support the management of the Smart Cash Management program, ensuring accurate and efficient installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  12. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering an environment of open and honest dialogue.
  13. Comply with all company service standards, serving as a role model for team members and clients alike.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to Quickly Learn New Software Applications
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred:

  • 3 Years of Sales Experience, Including 1 Year in Troubleshooting/Customer Care
  • 1 Year of Current Banking Experience
