About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Cascadia Global Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, their associates, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control: Monitor and control access to client facilities, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter the premises.
  • Investigation and Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations and report any maintenance or safety concerns that may pose a risk to the client, its associates, or public safety.
  • Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of client facilities, both on foot and in company-marked vehicles, to maintain visibility and deter theft and vandalism.
  • Security Responsibilities: Ensure that daily administrative documentation is kept concise and complete, and that uniform attire and grooming standards are maintained while in uniform.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and the public.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills and report-writing experience to accurately document incidents and events.
  • Criminal Background Check: Be able to pass a thorough criminal background check to ensure the safety and security of our clients and the public.
  • Stress Management: Be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies with poise and professionalism.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Security Experience: Have at least 1 year of security experience, preferably in a customer service role.
  • Unarmed Security License: Hold an unarmed security license and have completed 24-hour GA security training.
