Position Overview: This role is pivotal in supporting the national security framework of the United States.

The Skunk Works operates within Lockheed Martin's Aeronautics division, focusing on advanced systems development, including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of novel solutions, as well as enhancements to existing systems.

We seek a seasoned security expert to play a vital role in the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) within the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization.


The primary objective of the SES organization is to minimize risks and enhance the safety and security of personnel and assets while ensuring adherence to U.S. government and customer security protocols that support national security interests.

The selected candidate will serve as the Senior Security Representative for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP).

The individual will undertake the Security Representative responsibilities, implementing effective and value-driven security measures that bolster our nation's emerging technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

- U.S. Citizenship
- Experience with DoD Special Access Programs (SAPs)
- Familiarity with DoD Manuals, Volumes 1-4
- Possession of a Secret security clearance, current within the last 6 years, and the ability to maintain SAP access.

Preferred Skills:

The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in DoD Special Programs, Personnel Security, and Security Education and Training.
- Be knowledgeable about Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705.

- Be self-motivated and results-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently in an ambiguous environment.

- Exhibit strong organizational skills and possess advanced oral and written communication abilities, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or possess equivalent experience.

Security Clearance Statement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Remote Work Capability: Onsite Full-time: This position will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility for employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week to condensed options, offering employees extra time away from the office in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, 3 days off per week
