Job Title: Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at ASCEND HIRE INC. This is a part-time role that requires 2 days of in-office work per week, with the possibility of future opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for various administrative tasks, including supply ordering, meeting space reservations, invoice processing, food ordering, and database updates. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Lexis/Nexis and Raisers Edge are definite advantages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with office operations and administration
  • Manage supplies and inventory
  • Make meeting space reservations
  • Process invoices and manage financial transactions
  • Coordinate food ordering and logistics
  • Update database information
  • Research mailing addresses and contact information
  • Compose solicitation letters and thank-you notes

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
  • Experience with Lexis/Nexis and Raisers Edge (a plus)
  • Able to lift light objects, such as office supplies and food orders

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience
