Loyal Source has secured a remarkable opportunity to conduct Medical Disability Examinations for Veterans nationwide. In a short period, we have established Loyal Healthcare, featuring over 20 state-of-the-art facilities across 11 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. As we pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are actively recruiting for various healthcare roles to support Veterans in select states, with plans for nationwide expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough hearing assessments (MDE) encompassing air and bone conduction, Stenger testing, speech reception thresholds, and word recognition evaluations.
- Administer and analyze middle ear assessments through tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing.
- Perform otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen removal when necessary.
- Review electronic medical records, including audiogram history and military noise exposure.
- Provide expert medical opinions for hearing loss and tinnitus claims.
- Engage in on-site work at a multidisciplinary new clinic equipped with advanced audiology technology and soundproof booths.
- Ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and VA regulations.
- Conduct C&P hearing evaluations as one-time assessments without treatment.
Qualifications
- Possess a full, current, and unrestricted license in Audiology within the United States.
- Hold a Master's or Doctorate degree from an institution accredited by ACAE, CAA, or ASHA.
- Certification in BLS from The American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C&P examinations is advantageous but not mandatory. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be available.
