Position Summary: The Financial Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in executing routine accounting functions and generating reports that bolster operational efficiency across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the month-end closing and budgeting activities, ensuring accurate recording and tracking of Capital Expenditure Projects.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align financial projects with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Maintain precise and organized financial documentation, adhering to established accounting standards.
  • Manage the general ledger by documenting transactions, preparing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Contribute to the closing processes by preparing necessary schedules and reconciliations.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
  • Engage in cross-training and provide coverage for various accounting roles as needed.
  • Input vendor information into the accounting software system.
  • Review and validate formulas and pricing within the accounting system.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., M-Tech, SAP, or similar).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis is essential.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, is preferred.

Work Environment: This role is performed in an office setting equipped with standard office technology.

Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time is necessary.
