Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains precise and orderly financial documentation, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Oversees the general ledger by documenting transactions, preparing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations.
  • Assists in the preparation of various financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Responsible for documenting, monitoring, and finalizing Capital Expenditure Requests across all operational sites.
  • Analyzes expenses related to operations, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and aids in the budgeting process.
  • Contributes to the budgeting efforts for all operational locations.
  • Facilitates the month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing necessary schedules and reconciliations.
  • Supports accurate and timely reporting of Weekly Variance Reports.
  • Provides documentation for both internal and external audits on a periodic and annual basis.
  • Collaborates with the finance team on special projects, financial analysis, and other tasks as needed.
  • Cross-trains and provides support for all accounting roles at each location.
  • Enters vendor information into the accounting software system.
  • Processes invoices in accordance with purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely payments to vendors.
  • Monitors outstanding balances and follows up on overdue payments.
  • Accurately posts and allocates incoming payments.
  • Reviews and updates pricing and formulas within the accounting system as necessary.
  • Fosters positive and professional relationships with suppliers, employees, and management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and precision.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or similar, is preferred.
Work Environment:

  • Work is conducted in an office setting equipped with standard office technology.
  • The environment typically has a moderate noise level.
  • This is a sedentary role with occasional lifting of items weighing less than 15 pounds.
  • May require standing for less than or equal to one-third of the workday.
  • Ability to collaborate virtually with stakeholders across various time zones.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time may be necessary.
