As a vital member of our team, you will provide essential clerical and receptionist support, focusing on the management of patient records, responding to inquiries, and coordinating appointment schedules.

- Engage with our patient community to address and resolve outstanding account balances.
- Work towards minimizing delinquency rates for assigned accounts.
- Facilitate payment arrangements, adjust insurance claims for billing, and explore alternative payment options or charity assistance.
- Conduct a high volume of inbound and outbound calls for collections purposes.
- Investigate accounts receivable discrepancies as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
- Advocate for a patient-focused approach in medical collections.
- Oversee accounts receivable for hospital billing, aiming to convert AR into cash efficiently.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards to meet monthly self-pay collection targets.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is necessary.
- Familiarity with billing and collection processes is preferred.
- Understanding of payment assistance and charity programs is advantageous.
- Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speakers, are encouraged to apply.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The role requires proficiency in operating computers and office equipment, necessitating dexterity in hand movements. Candidates should be able to read and interpret information on computer screens and documents. The position may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing while performing tasks on a computer or phone, and may require occasional lifting and transporting of office supplies.
