Collections Manager

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Collections Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing a select group of top accounts within the electronics portfolio in SAP and achieving AR improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for managing a select group of top accounts within the electronics portfolio in SAP and achieving AR improvement.
- Responsible for and supports team in reaching AR performance, working capital objectives and service level goals for the department through monitoring of various daily reports and department planning.
- Develops relationships with key sales, customer support, distributor, and region management personnel to achieve accounts receivable goals and service level standards.
- Analyzes data and develops strategic improvement plans based on trend patterns.
- Responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit risks.
- Performance management of credit and collections associates including but not limited to supervising, training, coaching, and discipline.
- Performs progress evaluations for direct reports including monthly KPI reports, quarterly KPI reports and annual evaluations.
- Uses Six Sigma, Lean & process mapping skills to improve processes and productivity.
- Prepares management reports as required.
- Resolves complex credit problems independently.
- Makes decisions regarding credit extension.
- Aggressively escalates account information to Collections Manager that is critical to AR performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma required/Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3+ years Collections/Customer Service/Call Center experience required.
- Supervisory/Leadership experience in a Collections/Customer Service environment preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP and JDE preferred.
- Proficient with Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Demonstrates interpersonal, project management, written and verbal communication skills.
