Licensed Early Childhood Educator for Preschool

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic DPI-licensed early childhood educator to join our innovative preschool environment at The Well Preschool. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities- Implementing a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with developmental milestones.
- Creating and sustaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging educational atmosphere.
- Overseeing daily classroom activities and ensuring a positive learning experience.
- Monitoring and evaluating children's growth and development.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with families and caregivers.
- Conducting biannual parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress.
- Setting appropriate developmental expectations and employing positive reinforcement strategies.
- Engaging in physical activities such as lifting children and classroom materials.
- Maintaining a warm and supportive demeanor towards all children.
- Adapting to program changes and contributing to a dynamic educational setting.
- Performing additional duties as necessary.
- Embracing a fun and interactive approach to teaching.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.
- DPI license in early childhood regular education; emergency license acceptable with a commitment to complete 4K licensure agreement.
- Certification from the Registry of Wisconsin or the ability to achieve lead teacher certification (support provided).
- Completion of 10 hours of training in infant and toddler care within six months of employment.
- Two years of experience in the childcare sector.
- CPR/First Aid Certification, SBS Training, and Child Abuse and Neglect Training.
- Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are a plus.
