Job Title: Oracle APEX Developer

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our team in supporting the Department of Justice and our customers through the complexities associated with data proliferation and the growing technical and legal challenges of eDiscovery.

Job Summary:

The Oracle APEX Developer will serve as the principal developer of Legal Analysis Workflow System (LAWS), which is used to track incoming cases and projects. The developer will be responsible for the design and coding of Oracle APEX applications, performing routine Operations and Maintenance (O&M), and incorporating new capabilities into the LAWS application, such as upgrading user interfaces, improved scheduling and reporting features, and the development of custom workflows, while liaising with other divisions to ensure coordination and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and code Oracle APEX applications
  • Perform routine Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
  • Incorporate new capabilities into the LAWS application
  • Develop custom workflows
  • Liaise with other divisions to ensure coordination and problem resolution
Requirements:
  • ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelors Degree -OR- FOUR (4) years of relevant information technology experience in lieu of degree
  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in Oracle 11G or newer
  • THREE (3) or more years of hands-on experience in development using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in Procedural Language extension to Structured Query Language (PL/SQL)
  • Experience with designing, debugging, coding and maintaining Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML, JavaScript, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) code
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with designing, debugging, coding and maintaining reports using BI Publisher
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and document requirements using SharePoint or any Microsoft Office 365 application
  • Experience in designing, debugging, coding and maintaining data definition language (DDL) for Oracle 11G database and Oracle APEX application
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills
