Role:

As a key member of Oracle's Development and Engineering Legal Team, you will provide legal support for all of Oracle's cloud, software development, and hardware engineering organizations worldwide.

The team works closely with Oracle Development executives and key corporate stakeholders to complete agreements between Oracle and its strategic software and hardware suppliers and to evaluate and provide legal advice with respect to inbound software licensing, cloud infrastructure, open source, AI/ML, etc.

You will coordinate the efforts of various internal organizations to ensure that Oracle contracts and software licenses comply with company policies, and take a leadership role in defining policies, practices, and procedures within the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and negotiating a variety of technology transactions (inbound hardware, SaaS, API, data, co-development, etc.) and have the ability to handle a variety of tasks, evaluate alternatives quickly, and provide top quality legal assistance and support to executive-level clients in a fast-paced environment.

Preference is senior counsel but will go down to counsel (4+ years) if experience is focused on inbound licensing.

4+ years of relevant legal experience that includes experience with inbound software, SaaS, cloud, data licensing issues, and AI/ML in a technology company.
