Job Description:

BroadPoint Federal, Inc. is a leading provider of IT solutions for federal agencies. As an Oracle Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and developing RICE-W in the Oracle Federal Financial modules. Your primary goal will be to support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to achieve CMMI Level 3.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.
  • Meet with the customer and manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules.
  • Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in Oracle Financials R12/R11 and Oracle databases.
  • Strong in PL/SQL, Reports, Forms, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development (customizations and extensions).
  • Ability to provide technical support for Oracle Federal Financial modules that include Fed Admin (FV), AP, AR, GL and PO.
  • Monitoring and support of Production data interfaces between the core Oracle Federal Financials application and external federal systems pertaining to travel, contracts and procurement.
  • Experience with EDI Interfaces, using X12 standards.
  • Strong technical knowledge of OA Framework development.
  • Experience with shell/Perl scripting.
  • Knowledge of Control M.
  • Perform technical analysis of patches and open SRs with the product owner as required.
  • Perform impact analysis of the product updates released periodically by the vendor.
  • Strong knowledge of developing interfaces and conversion routines.
  • Provide operational support in Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financial Modules on a daily basis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve the technical issues reported by users.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
