Overview

Are you ready to contribute to a vital mission? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our operations at Bigham Cable Construction. This role involves leading efforts to identify and rectify quality issues in the field, ultimately minimizing damages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with operations supervisors, managers, and Field Check partners to select audits aimed at preventing potential damages.

2. Conduct thorough field audits to ensure accuracy of markings and compliance with relevant state laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

3. Perform root cause analysis on identified quality failures to implement effective solutions.

4. Complete all necessary documentation related to auditing and investigation processes, while communicating findings to quality assurance and operations management.

5. Address field risk findings and provide coaching and mentorship to technicians.

6. Participate in quality assurance ride-alongs with field technicians as requested by the Operations Manager.

7. Offer continuous feedback to Field Check partners to enhance quality outcomes and reduce damages.

8. Provide testimony in small claims and litigated cases when required.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years of locating experience or equivalent background.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex locates and proficiency in interpreting utility plats.

- Experience with various locating equipment.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.

- At least 5 years of investigation experience is preferred.
