Client Relationship Specialist

Position: Full Time, Full Benefits
POSITION SUMMARY This role primarily focuses on assisting clients at the service counter and through the drive-thru. The individual will be responsible for accurately executing financial transactions either in-person or via telephone. Additionally, the position involves guiding clients through a variety of services and advising them on how to effectively utilize company offerings to achieve their financial objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exhibit precision and efficiency in processing transactions for checking, savings, and loan customers: accepting funds, recording transactions, and disbursing funds as requested.
- Confirm intended transactions verbally with clients to ensure their needs are met and reduce the likelihood of errors.
- Conduct daily cash drawer reconciliations to ensure transaction accuracy and inform supervisors of any discrepancies.
- Receive loan payments and savings deposits, address account inquiries, document payment details, and validate checks and cash payments.
- Issue Cashier's Checks, accept currency for coin exchanges, verify amounts, process bond redemptions, and cash checks in accordance with established procedures.
- Support other departments and branches with transactions as necessary, assisting department and branch managers in fulfilling client requests and merchant verifications.
- Open new accounts, process required information, and educate clients about available services and products.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
- Experience in cash handling and customer service is advantageous.
- Proficiency in computer use; familiarity with banking software is beneficial.
