Pediatric Anesthesia Department Supervisor

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Pediatric Anesthesia Department Supervisor. This role will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated employees in ensuring the daily operations of the pediatric anesthesia division across multiple sites function smoothly.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of leadership and internal and external stakeholders. They will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, facilitating activities such as HR, space and facilities, equipment management, purchasing, communications, and IT.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of employees in ensuring daily operations across multiple sites
- Oversee daily operations of the pediatric anesthesia division
- Facilitate activities such as HR, space and facilities, equipment management, purchasing, communications, and IT
- Communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with University rules and regulations, processes, protocols, and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols, and procedures
- Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, and critical thinking
- Knowledge of a variety of administrative operational activities such as event planning and risk management
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Strong skills in short-term planning, analysis, problem-solving, and customer service
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a wide range of executives/faculty, staff, and community representatives
- Solid knowledge of common University-specific computer applications
- Minimum 1 year supervisory/lead experience
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
