Pediatric Anesthesia Care Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team at Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. As a key member of our Anesthesia Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care to pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in a team of approximately 23 faculty members working at BCH Oakland as part of the UCSF Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care.
- Provide anesthesia care to pediatric patients in the operating room and participate in patient care outside of the operating rooms, including Ambulatory Care, Acute and Chronic Pain, the Preoperative Clinic, and the BCH Oakland Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Teach residents and medical students, participate in University service, faculty meetings, monthly Grand Rounds, and M&M conferences, contribute to quality assurance programs and continuing education, and advance the mission of the department.
- Meet the qualifications of being board certified/board eligible in pediatric anesthesiology and demonstrating an aptitude for and dedication to medical education and providing evidence-based, high-quality care in clinical teams that enhance the patient experience with a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
- Must hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree and be board eligible or certified in Anesthesia.
- Must possess a valid California Medical License.
- Must be Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship trained or have equivalent advanced training and/or experience beyond that of anesthesia residency training.
- Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and achievements.
