Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our high-volume location in a busy airport. The successful candidate will oversee the daily functionality of our restaurant, including inventory management, labor scheduling, and customer service. As a key member of our team, you will cultivate a positive and productive work environment, and your management style will influence the flow of each business day.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor scheduling, and customer service
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment, and foster good relationships with management, peers, and team members
  • Train and develop team members, providing and modeling customer service and food handling standards
  • Oversee work performance, administering feedback directly to team members and shift leads, and relaying performance concerns to upper management
  • Master seasonal menu, including ingredients, dietary restrictions, and preferences
  • Order supplies and manage inventory, adjusting store orders and staffing to maximize sales opportunities and minimize waste
  • Oversee accounting, cash handling, and make weekly bank deposits
  • Implement and maintain food safety standards at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and function of the restaurant and its equipment
  • Be flexible and able to cover shifts in case of employee absence

Requirements

  • 1+ years of retail/restaurant supervisory experience overseeing a team of 8+ employees
  • Food Manager Certification (we can provide on-the-job certification within 90 days of hire for the right candidate)
  • Open availability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Office (Excel), Dropbox, iPad, and Slack
  • Passionate about food and people, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
